Dates to 1920-30's.

Measures 5 1/2 inches high. Almost 4 inches in diameter at bottom.

Outstanding quality: glass bottle reminiscent of figural stylised woman in a wide skirt. Glass is emerald green cut to yellow. Original full dauber at the

MT WASHINGTON WEBB BURMESE GLASS SILVER PERFU
19th century lay down sterling silver and enameled glass perfume bottle, made either by Mt. Washington in the USA, or Thomas Webb & Sons in England.

Total length is 8 1/2 inches.

Long, tapering bottle in ivory coloured glass, beautifully enameled with delicate scrolling branches with flowers in full bloom and buds and foliage. COlours are red, pinks, salmons, orange, and shades of green and brown, all highlighted with gold. Pattern entirely encircles the bottle, including the bottom.
THe swirling sterling silver lid is hallmarked twice, once with an animal head and one oval with IP. No stopper.

The bottle was made either by Mt. Washington as was a 4inch example with a bamboo pattern, similarly enameled in Jacquelyne Jones North's 1986 book on perfume bottles, page 21. It is also very similarly decorated to examples of Webb Burmese glass, one page 39 Revi's Nineteenth Century Glass.

Condition looks very good to the naked eye, but magnifying glass reveals a small slightly uneven patch (less than 1/4 inch wide) on the bottom, which may be original to the bottle, mentioned only for total accuracy.

SIGNED RENE LALIQUE PERFUME BOTTLE TZIGANE CO
Signed perfume / scent bottle made in France, pre 1945 by Rene Lalique.
Measures 5 1/4 inches high.
ROund bottle deeply moulded in a zig-zag imbedded pattern with the ridges of each zig-zag cut in a diamond pattern. This is reflected in the shoulders, which are a series of jutting out diamond shapes, slightly 'bent' or curved to echo the round shape. Also echoed, on a smaller scale by the outside of the stopper. The top of the stopper / lid has a curved cut pattern, which reinforces the sense of a round swirling machine.
The front of the bottle (if it can be called the front), has heavy black embossed TZIGANE and on the bottom rim, the thick glass is embossed, also in black, with CORDAY PARIS. Underneath the bottle, in raised, moulded letters, written in a ring : R LALIQUE BOTTLE MADE IN FRANCE.
Condition is very good. I found no chips/cracks. Brown marks are perfume residue, which I would not wash out.
