DECO PETIT POINT BAG PURSE W JEWELS PEARLS
Art Deco Petit Point hand bag or purse with gilt frame with real turquoise and hardstone jewels (pink agate?) pearls, jewels and enamelled. Austrian or French, circa 1920-30.
Measures 5 3/4 from bottom to top of clasp and 5 3/4inches accross.
There is a finely worked gold coloured chain, original to the bag and attached by loops to the frame. Someone has added a black and gold thread strap so that it can be carried from the shoulder. This can be cut off very easilly if desired.
Fine petite point hand work with classic bouquets of flowers within scrolling borders. The needlework is repeated on front, back and even the sides have a beautiful band of small flowers going around and covering the entire area.
The gilt metal frame with it's zig-zag gold attachment, is set with various long strips of turquoise and coral/amber, alternating with faux'diamonds' and pearls. The clasp is similarly decorated.
The original silk lining has a compartment for holding a small mirror or compact. The entire bag is in very good condition with no damage of any sort.

ANTIQUE BRILLIANT PR SHOE BUCKLES FOSTER
Victorian - Edwardian pair of shoe buckles set with brilliants (immitation diamonds). Made in England late 1880-1905. Marked with British Registry marks and factory name FOSTER. <br>
Each buckle is a little over 1 1/2inches long.<br>
Rectangular shape with arch to accomodate shape of foot and shoe. Very fine openwork and delicate setting. High quality workmanship, equal to that of a jeweller. Silvered leather back. One piece of silver material is missing, showing the leather behind it. <br>
Each buckle has engraved British Registry mark, used 19th century as well as name FOSTER, presumably the manufacturer. <br>
Good condition.

ANTIQUE MICRO BEAD PURSE BAG W CASTLE LANDSCA
Antique micro beaded purse / bag with panels depicting a castle in a landscape and flowers. Probably French.
Measures 8 1/2 inches long, including fringe at bottom. 5 1/4 inches wide.
Tiny beads arranged to form a number of panels. The widest panel, in the middle depicts bright flowers and foliage on a silvery iridescence background.
The bottom panel depicts a landscape with trees on either side of a Medieval castle. The top is a deep burgundy colour with sharply contrasting white beads with a green center.
Tortoiseshell coloured beads with fabulous reflective quality constitute the fringe. A hand-crocheted burgundy top with drawstrings closes the bag.
Black silk lining.
The same scene is depicted back and front. Tiny beads masterfully arranged in impeccable rows and columns.
Very good condition.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN PURSE BAG MICRO BEAD FLOWER
Exquisite micro beading to this purse made over 100 years ago, probably in France.
Tiny beads, arranged to depict a wonderful assortment of flowers: roses, pansies, marigolds and Morning Glory in a broad central panel on a ground of iridescent pearly silver beads,
surrounded by two panels of autumn brown background with scrolling vineleaves on either side. Fringe of twisted turquoise beads.
Quality of the workmanship is superb. Pattern is repeated on both sides.
Measures 7 1/2inches long (including fringe) and 5 3/4inches wide.
Missing lining and clasp, but otherwise very good condition.

GENUINE CROCODILE / ALLIGATOR BAG PURSE w 2bl
Genuine vintage crocodile / alligator handbag. Modern design with double openings and sections.
Measures 5 1/2inches accross, 6 inches high and 4inches accross front to back at widest point.
Sides are oval and bottom is correspondingly rounded. Wide brass frame with fanlike, fluted clasps for strap.
Opens on 2 sides - one has a ruffled compartment and the other a zippered compartment. The end of the zipper is missing. There is a small slit in one internal fold, but otherwise condition is great. Clearly a luxury item - rich shine and wonderful, wonderful variety of textured leather - from tiny flat sections to totally raised folds in 3-d. Very good overall condition.

Antique vintage woman's handmade lace and cotton flaring bloomers / shorts undergarment from the Victorian era. Never worn.
One of a box-full of woman's underwear, made by a seamstress and never worn. Made of flesh-coloured cotton and lace with ribbon ties at the waist. Fine lace on the bottom.
Excellent, wearable condition with very minor age discoloration that a professional can easilly clean. One small ribbon is missing on the waist - easilly replaced.
Measurements: The waist is 15 1/4inches accross, excluding the openings on either side. Length from back of waist to bottom of leg is 27inches. Distance from one bottom leg outside corner to the other is 43inches.

ANTIQUE GREEN KNIT BEADED BAG ACORN CLASP
Antique green knitted beaded bag / purse, dating to approx 1920. Great silver plate frame and chain and acorn clasps.
Measures 5 1/4inches to top of frame, 5 1/2inches to top of acorns (not including the chain).
Very clever pattern - beading starts out almost flat near the frame, but then forms elongated tear shaped swags, falling into loops, many layers thick of beautiful, iridescent green beads, the gold and light filled glass reflecting beautifully. The inside is lined with an amazing pink silk fabric. The frame has raised silver plate patterns and the clasps are lovely acorns.
Condition is excellent.

MICRO BEAD & PEARL ELEGANT VINTAGE PURSE BAG
Vintage micro beaded purse. Small and elegant, it is perfect for a wedding or going out at night.
Measures 7 inches from side to side and almost 4 1/4 inches from top to bottom.
Zipper for closing.
Very intricate scrolling pattern of white beads on a cream ground. Hearts of the scrolls are clear iridescent and highlights in a golden pearly pattern. Inside lined in off-white silk with partition for mirror.
There is very slight discoloration to the cloth, but otherwise condition is good.

FRENCH EMBROIDERED BEADED BAG PURSE W MIRROR
Early 20th century embroidered and beaded envelope purse / bag. Made in France.
Measures 7 1/4inches accross.
Envelope style bag with a press-stud close, in good shape. The entire surface is covered in tiny pale pink beads, like water pearls, with a few small gaps formed by embroidered flowers and leaves.
From the top the leaves spread down, like wavy, green fingers. A ring of star-fish like pink flowers borders the flap of the bag. The underneath part has smaller, embroidered pink flowers with gold centers. The back of the bag has golden scrolls, pink, turquoise and green embroidered flowers and foliage. The inside of the bag has a pearly silk lining. There are a number of small holes, more or less confined to a line accross the fold of the bag. A pleated pocket contains a mirror.
The pocket has a lable with red MADE IN FRANCE and the mirror has Corde-Bead in script.
There are no beads missing and the embroidery is in very good shape with no losses. The bag might benefit from being cleaned and re-aligned on the right, where the fold needs tightening.

EDWARDIAN BEADED BAG PURSE SILVER GOLD BEADS
From an early 20th century purse collection, here is a fabulous small bag / purse entirely covered in silver and gold beads - round and long, sewn into a floral pattern.
The bag is just under 4 1/2inches accross at the widest point.
A bright turquoise silk forms the background and contrasting colour to the shiny silver and gold beads. Front and back are identically decorated and not a bead is missing. Gold-coloured metal clasp is also in excellent condition and clicks tightly closed. The pearly silk lining inside is entirely intact, but somewhat browned from age - the only sign of the purse's venerable age.

FRENCH ENAMEL OPENWORK CUT STEEL BUTTONS BIG
Set of 4 antique Victorian, enamel and filigree openwork cut steel buttons. Made in France, 19th century.
They are large: over 1 7/8inches in diameter.
Exceptional buttons. A ring of cut steel, openwork patterns and raised steel arrows. Filigree pattern of star, extends to twisted, crossed strands and end in scrolling, interlocking patterns along the inner border. The surface flowers are enamelled in pink, purple and geen while the border ring is enamelled in light and dark blue. Fabulous play of light caused by the faceted cut steel.
Condition is excellent.
