ANTIQUE GEORGIAN FOB GILT HARDSTONE GEM MEMEN Antique Georgian swivel fob. Gilt, hardstone gems and sculpted jardinetti scene - memorial to a loved one. Made 18th century - circa 1780. <P><P>
Approx 1 1/8 inches accross.<P><P>
Triple sided fob. One side has a dark stone run through with red marbling (which we believe is called a bloodstone); one side has a creamy ground, shading to yellow with lovely soft greys and pale brown streaks and finally, the 3rd side is gilt metal, built up into the form of a jardinier full of flowers. This theme symbolised love, romance and the loss of a loved one to the Georgians. It is covered with a bevelled crystal 'window'. All sides and arch under which the sides swivel, are repousse gilt metal. <P><P>

Each cufflink is approx 3/8inches in diameter. Weigh 8.6grams. <P><P>
Cufflinks are classic understated elegance: flower shaped with repousse quatrefoil pattern on a round disk. Centered with a diamond. RIch in patterning and workmanship, yet overall effect of quiet luxury. Perfect!! <P><P>
Hallmarked on the back of each cufflink: 750 for 18k gold. <P><P>

ANTIQUE DIEPPE CARVED IVORY EARRINGS & BROOCH Museum piece!! Antique carved ivory suite - earrings and brooch in original, fitted box. Carved in Dieppe, France, circa 1850-60. <P><P>
Dieppe was the most famous center for this kind of carving in the 19th century and this is an outstanding example. <P><P>
Box a little over 6 inches long, shaped to accommodate the 3 pieces inside, sitting on a rich velvet bottom with silk-lined lid.<P><P>
Brooch measures a little under 2 3/4 inches long. Earrings about 1 1/8 inches long, not including the silver wires.<P><P>
Carved berries, wheat, roses - all subjects with strong symbolic meanings about love and romance that would convey a clear message to the Victorians. The carving is superlative - incredibly fine details, richly interwoven/intertwining parts that took the best master craftsman to accomplish. The depth of the brooch is about 3/4 an inch - indicating how full the carving is. <P><P>
Set with silver fittings.<P><P>
It is unlikely that this set was ever worn as it is in such good condition - I found no damage of any sort.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD PEARL ON MOP SET EARRI Antique, Victorian marriage set / demi parure consisting of earrings and brooch. Made early 19th century to circa 1850. <P><P>
Brooch / pin is a little over 2 inches long; earrings about 1 1/2 inches long, not including the gold loops. <P><P>
While anyone could wear this set, there is a belief that they were traditionally given to a bride. A very similar set was given by Thomas Jefferson to his wife,

Mary. <P><P>
The jewellery is composed of very finely set seed pearls on a mother of pearl base. They are connected with white horse hair. Small pearls form little focal points.

The pearls are arranged in a twining, overlapping arrangement with swags looping around the sides and bottom and tassles suspended from the bottom. THe work is

exquisite. Tightly arranged, with no loose or missing bits. <P><P>

NOUVEAU GOLD DIAMOND FOB WATCH GIRARD PERREGA Antique, Art Nouveau lady's 18K gold and diamond hunting case, lapel pocket watch. Made by Girard Perregaux Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, circa 1910. Comes with outstanding Art Nouveau lapel brooch fob. <P><P>
Measurements: approx 4 1/4 total length, including the fob; Watch is 1 1 /4 inches in diameter. Weighs 43 grams.<P><P>
Watch is suspended from a magnificent Art Nouveau brooch chain of openwork floral and foliate design with scrolling overlapping arches. The back has a hallmark, shown in the 'photos. <P><P>
The watch: lever set, 32.75mm in diameter. Black Arabic numerals beautiful hands, a timekeeping option and marked Girard Perregaux Chaux-De-Fonds on the face. Minutes demarcated in gold. <br>
It is cased in a honeycomb engraved case, delicately engraved on the back, the front with raised flowers and stems set with diamonds that pierce right through the lid/cover. The inside of the lid cover has the following engraved marks: 18k; manufacturer's mark - Girard Perregaux arching around a bird over a badge; a face looking left and 773. <P><P>
Al parts of the watch and brooch are in very good condition. The watch is in good, working condition and keeps good time (which may be affected by shipping).

GOLD ON SILVER & CABOCHON GARNET TIE PIN A gold on silver with cabochon garnet tie pin.
Measures 2 3/8inches long accross the tie.
Double bar clips onto tie. A gold link chain hanging from either side supports a two-tone gold reef knot with the ends encloses in a cabochon garnet.
The back of the clip is engraved 954 and ROLLED PLATE.
Very good condition. No damage or repair of any sort.

Measures 2inches long.
Double gold frame enclosing a gold filigree s-pattern with coin at the end. Coin features the head of Lady Liberty in profile, the words United States of America and the date 1900.
The pin is signed by the maker, Anson and 12K GF.
