Tri-lobed concave base standing on 3 bun feet. Shaped/turned bottom, beautifully worked. The top is fabulous: round in shape with indented sides, rounded edges and

subtle wood work of the highest quality. Almost the entire upper surface is decorated with a huge starburst in various lighter and darker coloured woods. There are

two small center triangles of inlay/veneer missing (shown magnified in the 'photos). <P><P>

Measures a little over 4 1/4 inches high; 3 1/4 inches wide. Unusually depth of 5 inches. <P><P>
4 drawers, graded in size from a very deep one on the bottom to a middle-sized in the middle and two smaller drawers on top. Nicely made round wooden pulls. A little

roughness on the corner of the top right drawer. Good patina.
Came with a little Beverly Sills memorabilia surprise in the bottom drawer, which we will leave for the next owner.

Measures 10 1/4 inches high; 5 1/4 inches wide.<P><P>
Stands on 4 shaped bracket feet. Two deep cupbaords with a metal handle and keyhole under a long drawer, with round metal handles and a central keyhole. A ridged

surface indicating the qualitly of the workmanship leads to inset mirrored tall cupboard doors, fitted out as the cupbard doors below. The bottom door are decorated

with inlaid wood/stringing. Shaped top, again shows wonderful quality of the craftmanship. <P>
Inside is original old paper lining in red and white geometric patterns with a scalloped, shaped wood shelf on top and a plain wooden shelf on the bottom.<P><P>
Generally very good condition with wonderful patina, formed over well over 100 years.

OLD MINIATURE GRANDFATHER CLOCK BEVERLY SILLS Vintage miniature wood grandfather clock. Early 20th century. From the estate of the late Beverly Sills, famous opera singer and society beneficiary. <P><P>
Measures 17 1/4 inches high. <P><P>
Made to look like a real grandfather clock and carved out of oak. It is set with a small clock (that needs some work), made in Germany.
Besides one part of the broken pediment that has been reglued, the clock is in good condition.

Measures 13 inches high; 10 3/4 inches wide; 6 1/2 inches deep.<P><P>
Strongly Biedermeier in style. Stands on 4 round, ball feet. Rectangular shape with inlaid stringing around edges. The front of the bottom has a single deep drawer,

also with stringing around the edges, repeated on the face of the front. The stringing at the back of the piece indicates the high quality of the craftmanship.

<P><P>
A pair of shaped columnes leads to a double 'broken' pediment with stringing / inlay following the round curves as well as the edges. The pocket watch (not included,

but available for sale) hangs behind a round reserve. The back has a swinging door that allows for removal/placing of the watch and holding it securely in place.

<P><P>
A tiny finial, broken off from the pediment is available and simply needs to be glued back on. For the rest, condition is very good.

4 drawered chest with stepped, rectangular base and rectangular top with rounded edges. Crafted from maple wood, the warm honey tone with marks and signs of well over 100 years. Bun-shaped knob handles in darker tones, one with scratches veneer (see 'photos). Well made dove-tailed joints. Beautiful little chest that would serve very well as a jewellery box. <P><P>
Generally good condition with natural shrinkage of wood causing a few gaps mentioned for the sake of accuracy.

VICTORIAN MINIATURE DESK/CABINET WATCH STAND Antique Victorian miniature wood furniture in the form of a desk or cabinet that actually serves as a watch stand. Made 19th century. <P><P>

Measures 8 inches accross and 6 inches to the top of the arch. <P><P>
Miniature wooden chest or desk. Beautifully constructed with rounded and stepped edges and inlaid wood with wonderful veneer patterning. A hook for hanging a fob watch above an inset circle. <P><P>
The left side is a cupboard, the right a pair of drawers. Wood inlay designed so that they look identical from the outside. However, the left side swings open on hinges and closes with a little latch. If you look very carefully on the inside (where your knee would go were you to sit at the piece), there is a tiny hole. The right side drawers are constructed in typical Victorian style, with dovetailed joints. <P><P>
Great veneer to the wood. Good condition.<P><P>
The watch shown in one of the 'photos was found inside the drawer of another item from the Beverly Sills estate. It is not included with this item, but it is available for sale.

ANTIQUE WOOD FURNITURE MINIATURE DESK / CHEST Antique wooden miniature chest / desk. Made well over 100 years ago, but exact date not known. <P><P>
11.5 inches long; 8 inches tall; 5.5 inches front to back. <P><P>
May have been a salesman's sample and may have been a child's toy. Would make a wonderful jewellery box today. Beautifully constructed a long time ago.
Long, deep drawfront divided into two compartments, at the bottom, right accross the front. Above it is a much narrower/shallower drawer with no division. A desk / writing surface above that and recessed behind is a set of 6 smaller draws, all but one divided into two sections. The draw pulls are made of natural material, we are not sure exactly what, and some have a little bite missing here and there (as shown in 'photos). <P><P>
The draws are beautifully constructed with fine dovetails. Due to age, the wood has separated and someone, apparrently a long time ago, has filled in some of the gaps - see 'photos. There is one little chunk of missing wood - seems to have fallen away due to age, not damage. The rest is in good shape, with plenty of signs of age and use - certainly not pristine. <P><P>

MINIATURE CUP SAUCER SIGNED HANDPAINTED GOLD Miniature cup and saucer signed handpainted and gilded. Made in Portugal.
Cup is a little over 1 1/4inches high and saucer has diameter of 2 1/2inches.
Both cup and saucer are handpainted with orange and pink roses on a swirling blue and green background. The saucer is gilded on the wavy rim. The cup is very richly gilded inside.
Both cup and saucer are signed with the artist's initials P.S.
A blue printed mark under the saucer of a shield with the words Porceal - Aveiro Portugal and Gintado a mao.
Condition is mint - no chips/cracks/damage of any sort.
Please enquire about the 2nd cup and saucer by the same artist.

COBALT BLUE GOLD MINIATURE LIMOGES TEA SET 19 Cobalt blue and gold miniature cabaret tete-a-tete, teaset and tray, made 19th century, France.
Tray measures 3 3/4inches long and 2 1/4inches wide.
Set consists of a tray, teapot, sugar bowl with lid and two handles, milk jug and two cups and saucers.
All pieces are cobalt blue with rich gold trim and gold decoration, including a pair of 18th century courting dancers in a landscape setting. Cups are less than 1/4inch high/diam and the tallest piece, the tea pot is 1 1/4inch high.
The tray is marked on the back SA Porcelain Limoges France for Limoges Castel factory.
Excellent condition.No chips/cracks.

Hatted rider dressed in plus fours rides a pennyfarthing. Base has details that look like a Dutch brick road. Dutch silver hallmarks. No dmage of any sort.
