NATIVE AMERICAN BEAD FRAME 1911 CATS MONKEYS
Native American Indian beaded picture frame, dated 1911. Rare animal theme.
Length is 10" excluding the fringe and 12 inches including the fringe at the bottom. Approx 7 3/4inches accross widest point.
Oval center with honey gold glass bead and golden sequin border.
The cloth background is sewn with raised florettes of roses and budding foliage. Surrounding the coral bead date - 1911 - is a pair of cats / monkeys with raised green backs. Above these are small scurrying wild animals or beavers/ otters ? in clear and golden beads with tiny black eyes and red noses.
Edges with old transparent beads that are slightly iridised due to their age.
Condition is very good considering the age and delicacy of the item. The loop for hanging the frame from, on top is missing. There are a few weak points in the beading - eg bottom left corner and bottom left of inner circle.

GILT BRONZE ORNATE DOUBLE FRAME FRENCH 19C
Exceptional gilt bronze hanging double picture frame. Made France, 19th century.
Length is 9 3/4inches. 7 5/8inches wide.
A loop behind an elaborate ribbon in richest gold bronze, suspends a pair of floral swags of exquisite delicacy and detail and the highest level of workmanship. In turn, a pair of chrysanthemums at the bottom holds a pair of round frames. Each has raised repousse foliage.
Another garland of exceptionally made flowers finishes off the piece.
The gold is rich and in mint condition. The flowers are minutely detailed and in equally wonderful condition.

ANTIQUE SILVER PHOTOGRAPH FRAME NEWCASTLE 19C
Antique sterling silver picture frame. Made Chester England, 19th century.
Rectangular shape with slightly convex sides and rounded corners. Measures 6 1/8inches long and 4 1/4inches wide. Inside measurements approx 3 1/4 X 5 1/4 inches.
Original cloth background and wooden back and easel.
Extremely elegant, understated.
Engraved registry and hallmarks on the side: RD654224. Makers mark JD over WD (possibly James Disdale and ?); lion passant, Chester mark and another mark, presumably the date, that is not clear.
Condition is very good. No damage of any sort.

Antique Caucasian tapestry weave and embroidery on wood picture frame. Approx 100 years old, or more. Measures 8inches accross and a little under 9 1/2inches high. Shades of orange and red bordered by tiny brown stiched border. Thicker, coarser brown embroidered patterns on the main field. Basic geometric symbolic designs. Attached to wooden frame. Darkening canvas attached to the back shows clear signs of very good age. Condition: excellent - no tears/rips/missing bits. FRAME 8SIDED CAUCASIAN HAND WOVEN EMBROIDERED
Antique Caucasian tapestry weave and embroidery on wood picture frame. Approx 100 years old, or more. Measures 6inches accross at widest point and a little under 7inches high. Unusual 8-sided shape. Ground is mustard golden colour. A symbolic flower in blue forms a central medallion. Some salmon / orange designs that are repeated in a technique that leaves the canvas base bare. A key pattern around this repeats this technique bordered by brown woven threads and dark green embroidery. Basic geometric symbolic designs. Incredible rich patina to wooden frame around the textile portion. Backed by old paper and still has original glass front. Condition: excellent - no tears/rips/missing bits. 19C GORHAM ST SILVER PICTURE FRAME NOUVEAU
19th century Art Nouveau sterling silver picture/photograph frame, made by the Gorham company. Measures 5 1/4inches high and 3 1/4inches wide. Stand alone frame. The back is covered with a deep plum coloured velvet which may be original. The frame itself in beautiful repousse silver with scrolls and roses on the top two corners. The center is a rolling wave, very ornate. Great quality and workmanship. Engraved mark on the side reads GORHAM STERLING 321. No dings/dents. Please note: I have another identical frame with green backing. Please enquire.

ANTIQUE MICROMOSAIC DOUBLE TABLE FRAME
Old micro mosaic double frame, probably Italian, late 19th century. Measures 3 1/2inches accross and 3 1/4inches from lowest to highest part. Two ovals frames. Pseudo legs at the bottom and nice arched pediment on top to give extra space for floral decoration. Very good detail of tiny stones and craftmanship. Brass back with 'stand' so that it can stand alone if required. Excellent condition, especially considering the age. one small stone missing.
