ANTIQUE 22K GOLD GEM & ENAMEL EARRINGS - FINE Antique 22carat gold, gem and enamel earrings. Made circa 1880 - 1920 in India. <P><P>
1 inch long. Weigh 5.6grams. <P><P>
Classic shape - elongated with elaborate, minute detail making up the whole. Golden globes of various sizes, exquisitely fine wire-work - some details too fine to see with the naked eye, and a series of 3-lobed discs, fanning out near the top. To enhance the gold further, a pair of red enamelled circles flank the largest globe. Old enamel work, called minakari, is incresingly difficult to find in good condition. Balancing the pear-shaped design of the top, is a pear-shaped gemstone pointing the other way. Surrounded by an engraved band of gold, it tests as a spinel or topaz (natural stone, not glass/synthetic). <P><P>
Superb craftmanship went into making this pair of earrings. Tiny detail seen in the little clover-shaped discs set alongside each other. Wonderfully elegant design. New backs make the earrings comfortable to wear for the modern woman who does not have the large distended holes in her ears that were worn by the original owner.<P><P>
Earrings have hallmarks on the backs One reads 22K and the other 16HS.<P><P>
Good condition. Back of one earring shows tiny sign of soldering, but this is not at all visible from the front. (highly magnified in 'photos).

Good antique Mughal / Indian jewellery combines the wonders of ages gone by with amazing design and delicacy executed by outstanding craftsmen and is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain as it grows in appreciation throughout the world.  

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OPAL DIAMOND EARRINGS CRESC Exquisite and very unusual pair of antique Victorian / Edwardian earrings. Made 19th century - 1860-80's. <P><P>
Measure approx 1 1/4 inches long. <P><P>
Very elegant crescent shape. Each earring has two cabochon oval opals with very finely set small diamonds forming the background. The

quality of the opals is lovely - showing a beautiful range of colours from blues to yellows with a marvellous inner glow and iridescence.

The stones are set in silver as was most common for the Victorian period. The attachments were probably replaced with clips - very secure

and done in 14k gold. Quality of workmanship is superb. <P><P>
The earrings curl up the earlobe when worn - most unusual and elegant.<P><P>

ANTIQUE PANSY SHAPED EARRINGS 18K GOLD DIAMON Antique pansy shaped earrings made of diamonds and rubies set in 18 carat gold. Made early 1900's - circa 1900 - 1930. <P><P>
Each earring is about 1/2 inch in length. <P><P>
Exquisitely fine earrings inopenwork design in the form of a pansy flower. The top part is red (ruby), while the rest is set with diamonds, including a slightly larger diamond in the center of each flower. The backs are loops with a clasp coming up to hold and secure them - easy to insert and comfortable to wear. <P><P>
Hallmarked 18K. <P><P>

VINTAGE SIGNED HIDALGO EARRINGS 18K GOLD & BL Vintage signed Hidalgo earrings made of 18 carat gold and black enamel. <P><P>
Weigh about 5.5 grams. <P><P>
Classic elegance: semicircular in shape with black enamel ground and raised gold double crosses and raised dots inbetween the lines of the crosses.
Made for pierced ears. Each earring has engraved HIDALGO marks as well as 750 for 18K gold. Butterflies are also marked for 18K. <P><P>
Very good condition. No damage/losses/restoration. <P>
NOthing looks smarter than seemingly simple black and gold, beautifully made.  

PARURE GOLD PEARL EARRINGS PENDANT BROOCH Antique Victorian 14 carat gold and pearl jewelry parure, consisting of a pair of earrings and pendant-brooch. Made 19th century - circa 1880-1890.<P><P>
Total length of pendant-brooch is about 1 1/2 inches and width is approx 1 1/8 inches. Total weight is 13 grams.<P><P>
Each piece with a finely detailed flower on top of an open amphora or urn-shape with swags of foliage on either side and a cross-over bow at the bottom apex. A pearl is suspended in the open space of the urn / amphora and another at the bottom. Gold chains are suspended from the handles of the amphorae and connect to the bottom pearls, forming an outer loop. The entire surface area of the gold is engraved and moulded with very fine detail and with an applied orb in the center of each flower. Additional attraction results from the swing of pearls and gold chains as the wearer moves. Very fine workmanship and quality. <P><P>
The larger piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant. The earrings have very comfortable loops with a catch at the back for additional security. <P><P>
Each piece is hallmarked 14K. <P><P>
Larger pearls may be a replacement - the Victorians tended to use seed pearls.

ESTATE EARRINGS - LARGE AMETHYST IN 14K GOLD Large estate amethyst earrings set in 14 carat gold. Mid to late 20th century. <P><P>
Stones are at least 3/8 inches long and rectangular in shape. They are mounted in a simple gold setting with studs and butterflies. Each one is hallmarked with maker's mark F in a triangle and 14K. Very good condition.  

PINK TOPAZ & DIAMOND PENDANT EARRINGS SET IN Classic antique style pendant / dangle earrings in rare pink topaz set with diamonds in 18 carat gold. From an estate, but not old. <P><P>
Measurements: excluding the gold loops, 1 inche long. Weigh 6 grams. <P><P>
Beautiful bright pink faceted stones in a gold walled border. Surrounded by a ring of diamonds, forming a background to the pink stones, setting them off
beautifully. The whole suspended by a line of diamonds set in gold tubular mounts. Classic elegance in a modern setting. <P><P>
No hallmarks, but tested for 18k gold.<P><P>
Very good condition. <P><P>
While we are not gemologists, we look at, buy and sell a lot of jewellery and this lovely colour is not to be seen very often.  

ANTIQUE 18K GOLD, BLUE ENAMEL GLOBE EARRINGS Antiqiue / vintage 18 carat gold and cobalt blue enamel domed circular / half globe earrings with stars, made circa 1940. <P><P>
Half globes are slightly over 1/4 inch in diameter. Earrings weigh 10 grams. <P><P>
Gold loops with a little gold bead support the round half globes which are decorated with a cobalt blue enamel ground and golden stars scattered all over the surface. Highly attractive. <P><P>
Each earrings is hallmarked 18k. <P><P>

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 14K GOLD PENDANT EARRINGS F Antique Victorian 14 carat gold earrings. I believe they were made in India. Date to the 19th century. <P><P>
Weigh 10grams. Measure 1 1/2 inches excluding the loops. <P><P>
Each earring consists of a hollow filigree globe attached by a flower to the loop of the earring on top. Two rings connect to a filigree dome or half globe from which a tightly packed circle of rings suspends fine gold wire wound into tassels that end in little gold beads. The earrings swing and sway beautifully with the slightest movement. Wonderful quality workmanship - amazingly delicate and fine. <P><P>
Very good condition. <P><P>
Antique Moghul / Indian jewellery has become highly sought after and is increasingly difficult to find.  

VINTAGE 14K GOLD EARRINGS HOOPS HEARTS STARS Vintage pair of 14 carat gold earrings with semi-circular hoops, hearts and stars. Made in Italy. <P><P>
Slightly over 1 1/2 inches long. Weigh approx 8 grams. <P><P>
Wonderful design for pierced ears: A star stud sits on the ear-lobe. It suspends a short chain from which hangs an inverted semicircular hoop, which in turns supports a chain with stars surrounding a heart. Great movement and swing. Look stunning. <P><P>
The back of each earring has a little plaque with engraved FR 14K ITALY. <P><P>

ANTIQUE NEOETRUSCAN GOLD ENAMEL PEARL MOURNIN Antique Victorian Neo Classical / Etruscan Revival earrings. 19th century. <P><P>
Measure approx 3/4 inch in diameter. Weigh approx 7grams. <P><P>
Round earrings with tiny patterned borders. A ring of black enamel and gold with concave circles, each with a little raised flower. Two wavy, raised wall enclose a ring of seed pearls and inside that is a circle enclosing a raised badge with black enamel. It would be possible to engrave initials on the raised badge, but it has been left empty. Finest quality workmanship and minute detail. <P><P>
There are no hallmarks on the earrings, but I tested them and they test for at least 18carat gold. The loops with little globes from which they hang are possibly later as they are only 14carat (although the Victorians were known to mix different calibres of gold). <P><P>
Very good condition - no damage and enamel is in excellent shape with no wear.  

ANTIQUE ENAMEL GOLD DROP EARRINGS MASK PORTRA Antique Swiss enamel drop earrings set in gold. Exact age unknown, but estimated as early 1900's. <P><P>
Tested at least 14K gold. Measure approx 1 5/8inches total length.
Earrings for pierced ears. Each has a pair of enameled masked woman, set in a gold mount. The curious masqueraded figures are most intrigueing and beautifully done. Each miniature portrait is different - one blond, one redhead, one brunette etc. COndition is very good. Miniscule wear to one figure, shown highly magnified in the 'photos, but not visible at all with the naked eye.  

ANTIQUE 14K Y GOLD RUBY DIAMOND DECO RETRO EA Amazing pair of retro / Art Deco earrings. Circa 1930-40's. Origin unknown.<P><P>
Weigh 10 grams. 1 1/4 inches long. <P><P>
Fabulous design: a curling bow is the background for a loop of tightly set rubies and a comet-shaped swirl of diamonds, graded in size from smaller to

largest. The bottom of the 'bow' is curled into increasingly tighter rings with a ruby in the center of the inner loop. Earrings combine fantastic

imagination and great craftsmanship. Gold is like a mirror, which adds to the futuristic look of these earrings. <P><P>
Gold is not hallmarked, but we tested it and it tests for at least 14 carats. <P><P>
Very good condition.  

VICTORIAN DROP EARRINGS COBALT BLUE ENAMEL GO Antique VIctorian drop earrings - cobalt blue enamel on 22k gold, set with pearls. Made in England, 19th century. <P>
Measure 1 1/4 inches long, excluding the loops. <P>
Earrings consist of a round, domed part connected by linked loops to an elongated, domed tear-drop. Borders are gold. Ground is blue enamel. In the center of

each part is a starburst of relief decorated gold - extremely fine workmanship, centered by a pearl. Earrings look stunningly elegant when worn and the

linked loops allow for a lovely swinging movement. Very good quality workmanship. <P>
No hallmarks seen, but we tested the gold and it is above 18 carat. <br>
Very good condition - no damage/losses.  

ANTIQUE LAVA BROOCH PENDANT EARRINGS SET 14K Antique set of jewelry consisting of a brooch and a pair of earrings mounted in 14 carat gold. <P>
Brooch / pendant is a little over 1 1/4 inches long, excluding the loop. Earrings approx 7/8 inches long.<P>
Carved lava with Classical Roman heads. Amazing detail to hair and facial features. Very high, relief carving. Mounted in 14 carat gold, very well made

fittings.
The brooch with a secure fastener and sturdy loop to hang as a pendant; the earrings with post for pierced ears as well as clips to clip on. <P>
All pieces are hallmarked 14K. <P>
