Weigh 4.8 grams. Accross wingspan of each bee is approx 3/4 inch.<P><P>
Beautifully modelled with differing surface texture and realistic details such as the raised stripes on the body. Wings have engraved patterns and are enamelled in a range of greens - from golden to emerald green. Little rubies form the eyes. The bees are attached to each other by a gold chain. Each has it's own clasp on the back.<P><P>
Hallmarked 750 for 18carat gold.<P><P>

ANTIQUE THEODOR FAHRNER BROOCH PIN ENAMEL PEA Antique Jugendstil - Schmuch / Art Nouveau brooch. Silver pearls, gemstones and enamel. Made in Pforzheim, Germany, circa 1908 by Theodor Fahrner. <P><P>
Approx 1 3/8 inches (32mm) accross widest part; approx 1 7/8 inches from top to bottom. Weighs 6.5grams. <P><P>
Brooch consists of an arc or semi-circle, enamelled in green and colette set with light-coloured stones. WIthin the reserve formed by the arc, and extending downwards, is an openwork lattice of filigree scrolls and swags. A ring of pearls is set parallel to, and inside the arc. 3 elongated highly stylised tulip-shapes, enamelled in a range of greens from almost white to bright. These are attached via silver loops, and are therefore free floating. Alternating between the heads of the tulips are 4 pearls. <P>
From the bottom silver wire-work are 5 chains, gradated in length, each ending in a colette set green gemstone, which could be tourmaline or peridot. <P><P>
The pin at the back is hallmarked as follows: Maker's mark for Theodor Fahrner; 925; STERLING and GERMANY. <P><P>
Generally very good condition. Negligible enamel wear, shown magnified in the 'photos is commensurate with age. <P><P>

ANTIQUE GOLD ENAMEL DIAMOND PEARL PIN BROOCH Antique Victorian Art Nouveau era pin / brooch pendant. Made of 18k gold, diamond and pearls. Made c1880-1900, very likely American. <P><P>
Measures just over 3/4 inch accross (20mm). Weighs 3.7grams. <P><P>
Brooch / pendant in the form of a flower. Pansy with a little stalk. The border of the 4 petals and stem are all set with seed pearls. A diamond in the center. The beautifully shaped petals are enamelled in shades of green, from lime to emerald, resulting in a fabulous peacock feather like glimmer and shine that changes as the light catches the rounded shapes. <P><P>
The back has a pair of loops that would enable the piece to be worn on a ribbon or chain as a pendant as well as a pin for wearing as a brooch. A negligible grey spot near the join of the clasp might be a sign of an old repair - scarcely visible even from the back and definately not seen in front. <P><P>

ANTIQUE GEORGIAN AMETHYST GOLD BROOCH PENDANT Antique brooch / pin pendant. 14carat gold, amethyst. Made during the Georgian era, 18th to early 19th century.<P><P>
Weighs 4.7grams. Measures approx 1 1/8 inches (29mm) top to bottom, excluding the loop. Middle stone is approx 3/8 inch (9mm) long. <P><P>
9 beautiful amethysts, with good deep colour are set in a diamond shape. 4 round stones, 4 pear-shaped stones and a large oval in the center. The amethysts are colette set with scalloped borders. The borders are defined by gold cannetille and rope-like filigree in cones with granules on top. Granules of gold on the outer edges of the amethysts. <P><P>
The piece is versatile and can be worn as either a brooch / pin, or a pendant. A generously sized loop on top and simple c-clasp pin on the back. <P><P>

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN W GOLD DIAMOND RUBY BROOCH Antique, Victorian white gold, diamond and ruby brooch. Made 19th century, European. <P><P>
Measures 1 inch wide and 7/8 inch tall. Weighs 3grams. <P><P>
Circle, set with diamonds. On either side is a small flower, and in a semicircle above that, a ring of alternating diamonds and rubies. A small diamond at the apex.

Another diamond, set at the bottom, under the circle, 'anchors' and balances the diamond-ruby arc above. <P><P>
Very good quality workmanship. The stones have a great sparkle. The design almost predates the Deco period in it's geometric form. <P><P>
No hallmarks, but gold tests for 18k. <P><P>

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN TERRIER DOG BROOCH PIN - GO Antique, Victorian dog brooch. 14carat gold set with rose cut diamond eyes and an old mine cut diamond in it's mouth. Circa 1860-90. <P><P>
A little over 1 inch in diameter, fully 3 dimentional from the front. Weighs 8.8grams. <P><P>
Realistically modelled dog - of the terrier family (we have been told he's a Westie or Cairn), with long coat and little pointy ears. Fabulous detail in every lock

of hair. Marvellous expression given to the eyes by the shaggy eyebrows. Great little jowels with hand-engraved detail. <P><P>
The diamond in the dog's mouth is estimated at .32ct. The pin is closed at the back. <P><P>
Not hallmarked, but tests 14k gold.<P><P>

CARVED MOONSTONE GOLD DIAMOND MODERN BROOCH Estate brooch / pin made 20th century but with the design and workmanship of the best antique jewellery. Carved gem stone, diamonds, set in 18k gold. <P><P>
Approx 3 1/4 inches long. Weighs 14.2grams. <P><P>
A smoky grey moonstone, carved into a wonderful smiling moonface, complete with wrinkles. Set in a gold colette, wrapped around the face like a scarf and connected to a long, pointed, tapering cone, in the form of a very long wizard's hat. The long cone is set with diamonds all the way up. Diamonds are set beneath the surface and have a marvellous starry sparkle, reinforcing the magical theme of the piece. WHile clearly a modern piece, the workmanship of this brooch is in the same high class as the antiques rarely equalled today. The lighthearted them makes the brooch wearable at any time and for any occasion and is a great contra to the serious quality and design. <P> <P>
Hallmarked on the back under the clasp: 18K and a maker's mark in a lozenge. <P><P>

GEORGIAN GARNET PEARL HORSESHOE BROOCH Antique Georgian horseshoe shaped brooch / pin. Silver and gold set with cabochon garnets and pearls. Made late 18th - early 19th century. <P><P>
1 1/4 inches long.<P><P>
Lucky horseshoe shape. Beautifully matched cabochon deep wine red garnets cover most of the surface. The terminals and the center with pearls. In the middle, the pearls are arranged within a heart shaped reserve. Pearls also border each pair of garnets on the outside. The main part of the body of the brooch is made of silver, but the pin & fittings at the back are gold.<P><P>

ANTIQUE SUFFRAGIST ENAMEL GOLD BAR PIN PANSY Antique, Victorian/Edwardian Suffragist bar pin in enamel on 10-12k gold. Made late 19th to first decade of 20th century. <P><P>
Measures 2 inches long. Weighs 3.3grams. <P><P>
Long, rectangular with rounded ends. The surface is beautifully enamelled with flowers. A pansy in the center, often used as a Suffragist symbol because of the colours (violet and white). In this case a little more pink, but the symbol remains. Beautiful blue and white tubular morning glory flowers border the pansy, with foliage on the sides (providing the green for G). <P><P>
Very fine workmanship. THe colours are an exceptionally delicate range of hues and very sensitively depicted, which must have taken an excellent craftsman to produce in enamel. <P><P>

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FINELY CARVED IVORY BROOCH Antique Victorian very finely carved brooch / pin. This carving was usually done in Dieppe, France, known for it's fine craftsmanship. Circa 1850-80. <P><P>
Measures 1 15/16 inch accross length. <P><P>
The center of the brooch is carved with a depiction of Pliny's doves - well known scene of 3 pigeons perched on a wide vase or urn. The vignette is surrounded by

interwoven vines and leaves as well as a minutely carved background of fernlike foliage. The carving is exquisitely done - 3 dimentional and complex, the vines

twining over and around one another, with levels behind levels of interest.<P><P>
Very fine detail, showing the veins of the grape leaves.<P><P>
It appears that the pin is the original, which is longer than usual and indicative of a very early piece. Age is also seen in the great patina, acquired over about

150 years. <P><P>
Condition is very good with one tiny piece missing - almost impossible to find unless you are determined to look for it.

Classic Art Nouveau design. An oval with overlapping gold wirework and a pair of flowers, which we are told are bleeding hearts, with foliage. The relief flowers (or

berries ) and foliage in semi-transluscent enamel - in exquisite detail. The flowers have tiny natural pearls as stems. The pin is tiny, but exquisite. <P><P>
The C-clasp of the pin is hallmarked with 14K and the KREMENTZ & CO logo.<P><P>

Beautifully constructed, largely of 14k gold with delicate engraved detail on the wings. Realistic treatment of the head. Lovely cabochon garnet forms part of the

body, adding a deep, rich red lustre and glitter.<P><P>

ANTIQUE BELLE EPOQUE BUG BROOCH - GOLD AQUAMA Antique Belle Epoque brooch / pin in the form of an insect. Made during the Belle Epoque (Beautiful) era, - late Victorian through Edwardian until WWI.<P><P>
Measures just over 1 inch long. Weighs 5.1grams. <P><P>
Great looking little creepy crawly with 14 carat gold wings, engraved for finer detail, little gold legs and feet, a pointy gold nose. Eyes are little rubies. The

thorax is in the form of a lovely aquamarine while the rest of the abdomen is a honey-gold coloured, cabochon gemstone. Ruby and aquamarine were tested.<P><P>
Hallmarked on the pin 14K. <P><P>

GOLD PEARL OPAL DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BROOCH Antique, Victorian butterfly brooch / pendant. Made of gold set with split pearls, opals, diamonds, rubies and emeralds. <P><P>
Measurements: just under 1 3/4 inches accross widest part at tip of wings. Weighs 11.3 grams. <P><P>
Brooch with loops so that it can be worn as a pendant as well. <br>
The entire curved surface is beautifully set with split pearls, graded in size, a pair of small pearls at the ends of the anthers. Head of emerald and thorax of rubies. Wings are filled in with oval opals and diamonds, all set somewhat above the plain of the surface. Lovely light. Great quality workmanship.<P><P>
Gold is unmarked, but tests for 18k.<P><P>
COndition: looks very good. Back has soldering marks in the center that in no way impinges on the front appearance, which is stunningly lovely (as a butterfly should be).

ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN GOLD, GARNET AND MOONSTONE Antique Edwardian moonstone pendant, set in 14k gold with a small garnet. Circa 1900 - 1910. <P><P>
1 7/8 inches long. Weighs 5 grams. <P><P>
Very simple drop pendant, made to exhibit the beauty of the stones, which are set in simple gold collets, suspended one below the other. A round stone on top, a bread-loaf shaped stone follows and is succeded by a round, faceted garnet - deep red stone, followed by a triangle composed of gold bars and finally another cabochon moonstone. The moonstones are very high, protruding a long way from the collets - both voluptious in shape and adding to the depth and play of light through the stones. <P><P>
No hallmarks, but gold tests for 14 carat. <P><P>
