Measures 5 1/4 inches high.<br>
Standing on scalloped round base. Very elegant hand made art glass swan, winges lifted in readiness for flight, each feather individually expressed, flecked with gold. Long neck curves into a beautiful shape, ending in gold and clear glass beak. Very strong artistic sensitivity. <br>
Original lable underneath reads GENUINE VENETIAN GLASS A DECORA MADE IN ITALY FROM MURANO. <br>

SIGNED CHARLES CATTEAU SCALIMONT DECO GLASS V Signed Art Deco / Jugendstil Scalimont glass vase by Charles Catteau. Made in Belgium 1920-30's. <P>
Measures approx 8 3/4 inches high.<br>
Baluster shaped moulded art glass vase. Pale lime green / greenish yellow, a colour that Catteau used often in his ceramics. Fans and symbolic clouds, echoing Chinese and Oriental art with a strong cubist element - the geometric qualities that identify and define the Art Deco style. <p>
Blown out signature part of the mould, in the glass CH CATTEAU and underneath, embossed mark SCALIMONT MADE IN BELGIUM.<P>
No chips/cracks, although the glass can do with a good wash.<P><P>


Charles Catteau, known mainly for his work with Boch Freres a ceramic manufacturer, Catteau also did some work with glass.
This piece is very well known but very rare. It is one of three pieces featured in the Catteau book, L'Homme de Keramis.

WEBB ENGLISH CAMEO GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE 1884 Exceptional Webb cameo art glass perfume /scent bottle with sterling silver cap. Made London, England early 1880's by Thomas Webb & Sons. <br><br>
Monumental 11 inches long. <br>
Flattened elongated oval form. Yellow glass with white overlay carved in magnificent fuchsia pattern with butterflies. Flowers in full bloom and in bud, and beautifully carved foliage. A number of butterflies flutter around the bottle. Round sterling silver cap. Original glass stopper. Gilt silver neck.
The quality of the carving and it's detail is exceptional. The white glass has a buttery feel about it. <br>
Although the name Webb does not appear, the butterflies are their signature mark and there is absolutely no doubt that they produced this bottle. The butterflies were often used in lieu of the company name spelled out. <br>
The silver cap and the gilt silver neck are both hallmarked with lion (sterling standard); leopard (for London), date letter I for 1884-5; Queen's head facing left; and maker's mark, which appears to be FBM (FRM?). <br>
Condition is excellent. No chips/cracks/damage/restorations of any sort.
Previous owner: Acquired from Alan Tillman Antiques, London, England (1977). One of the largest lay down bottles!

T WEBB CAMEO GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE CARVED IVOR Signed Thomas Webb & Sons cameo art glass perfume / scent bottle with original silver top. Made in England, 19th century. <br><br>
Measures 5 1/2 inches high. <br>
Bulbous bottom with very long, thin neck ending in a silver collar with matching silver bulbous stopper, attached by a silver chain.
The 3 layers of cased glass have been carved in a beautiful, delicate floral pattern. The colours are shades of white: cream, buttery yellow and iron red. The latter used as highlight and outline. The combination of the light colours looks like carved ivory. Beautiful dog roses and buds, clearly showing a strong Japanese influence in the treatment of delicate branches, blossoms and foliage. A ring of little flowers enclosed in double bands near the top.
Colour of the underlying layer of glass seems to change from light sunshine yellow to a brighter/darker shade as it goes up the bottle.<br>

Not signed, but undoubtedly the work of Thomas Webb and Sons and comes from a collection of their vases.<br>
Besides an interior bubble (original to the manufacture), the condition is very good, with no chips/cracks/restoration. <br>

Exceptionally well carved cameo glass with bright Prussian blue ground and white overlay. Depicts fuchsias both in full bloom and in bud, as well as a composite, small flower with elongated foliage. Great detail to carving and particularly beautiful design, encircling the entire vase. <br><br>

Superior cameo glass cutting in 3 layers: frosted/grey, yellow and red. Floral motif entirely surrounds the vase. The arching stems, open flowers, blossoms and foliage arranged in elegant, swirling design typifying the Art Nouveau style. Exceptional detail - even the stamens of the flowers are shown, as well as the fine veins on the leaves. <br>

Schneider Le Verre Francais "Coral" French cameo glass vase. Colors are yellow, orange and blue and are mottled, as is typical of Schneider cameo glass.
Sea themed pattern, looks like coral growing on the sea bed with sea berries or fruit in it's floating 'arms'. Wonderful clear, bright colours.
Etched signature Le Verre Francais and Ovington New York.<br> Scratching and a small flake around base but otherwise good condition.

Measures approx 6 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high.<br><br>
Round shape, narrowing towards the upper rim with a concave waist. Fitted lid. Ground glass is

textured like orange peel and has a pale yellow-green tinge. The surface has a continuous frieze

of foliage and flowers which look like fuchsias or orchids in various tones of blue, cream, tan

and pink/purple browns. A bee in yellow and brown hovers over one of the flowers. <br><br>
Signed in cameo on the box.<br><br>

LEGRAS CAMEO ART GLASS BLOSSOM VASE 15 1/4INC Monumental signed Legras cameo art glass vase. Made in France, early 20th century.<br><br>
Measures approx 15 1/4 inches high.<br><br>
Cylindrical shape, widening slightly towards the top, curving in towards the top rim. Ground

glass is a combination of milky white and forest green with a mottling of blue, especially near

the upper portion. Above this are 5 layers of glass, cameo cut to depict a superb Japanese style

cherry blossom tree. Blossoms and foliage are further enhanced by engraved details. Colours are

white, yellow, orange, brown and green. Photos cannot do justice to the impact of this vase,

which combines the monumental size with the extremely delicate detail. This is Legras at it's

absolute best.<br><br>
Signed near the bottom. <br><br>
Condition is excellent. NO damage, restoration or faults of any kind.

DECO MURANO GLASS FIGURINE NUDE WOMAN REINDEE DECO MURANO GLASS FIGURINE NUDE WOMAN + REINDEER rt Deco Murano /Venetian glass double figurine of a prancing nude woman and reindeer. Made in Italy. Believed to date to the Art Deco period (2nd quarter of 20th century). <br><br>
Measures almost 9 inches max height; 9 1/2 inches front to back. <br>
Stands on a rectangular wooden base.
Glass is marbled off-white, clear in the extremities such as fingers and toes, tips of horns and hooves. Two seperate figures prance gleefully - the woman stands on the ball of one foot, the other raised as she dances and runs, her arms thrown up in joy. Her hair flies up as she moves. Alongside her the reindeer echoes her movement - front legs thrown forward casually, back legs and horns arching backwards. The figure is full of movement and joy. Wonderful form and brilliant restraint in the use of only one colour. Clear technical mastery.
No signature to be seen. Very good condition - no damage/restoration.

VENETIAN GLASS TOOTHPICK HOLDER VASE DOLPHIN Antique Venetian / Murano iridescent glass toothpick holder / narrow vase. Made in Murano (Venice) Italy, late 19th century. <br>
Measures 3 inches high, a total of nearly 4 1/4 inches max distance accross. <br>
Very delicate mottled pink colour with ruffled edges. On either side it is supported and raised by a pair of turquoise blue dolphins, very richly imbedded with gold and with brown and yellow eyes.
Good condition. We found no chips/cracks/damage/restoration.

GALLE CAMEO GLASS VASE FLOWERS BLOSSOMS & BUD Art Nouveau cameo art glass jardinierre / vase made in France by Emile Galle, late 19th century.
Measures 4 1/2 inches accross the top and 3 3/8 inches high.
Exceptional cutting on this vase with shades ranging from a deep burgundy red to a pinkish rose colour, over yellow, that tints from lemon to orange, depending on the light. A continuous frieze of flowers and foliage, with great detail to the flowers, some of which are in bud and some fully open.
Signed in cameo, Galle.

LA VERRE FRANCAIS CAMEO GLASS FUCHSIA VASE Art Nouveau, cameo art glass vase, made by La Verre Francais, Paris, France.
Measures a little over 10 inches high.
Round base, very narrow at the bottom, widening to the shoulders and then narrowing slightly around the neck, with an out-turned rim. The bottom area is a deep blue, with the rest of the vase in shades ranging from blue over red to pale yellow. The highly recognisable mottled effect - blue and green / red and blue is very clearly evident. Beautiful carving of the fuchsia flowers, some fully open, some in bud, and their foliage.
Signed on the base in engraved script (identical to signature #113 in Blount's book on French cameo glass).

EMILE GALLE CAMEO GLASS VASE BERRIES FOLIAGE Art Nouveau cameo glass vase made in France by Emile Galle late 19th century.
Measures slightly over 6 3/4inches high.
Round base, flattened front and back, with long, straight and narrow neck. Glass is red over yellow and clear. Profusely carved design of foliage and berries surrounds the vase. Great detail showing veins of leaves, with varying thicknesses of the red glass creating different shades of red. Yellow may go from pale to an orange glow, depending on the light.
Signed in cameo on the side, Galle.
Condition: looks very good with no chips/cracks/damage of any sort, but it is possible that the vase was slightly reduced.
