MIXED METAL INK WELL FIGURE QUEEN ELIZABETH I
QUEEN ELIZABETH I COMMEMMORATIVE: Mixed metal inkwell with figural head of Queen Elizabeth I of England, made of different coloured metals & glass. Made in France, 19th century. 3 1/2inches high. Glass inkwell has gilt bronze neck with lacy, engraved and raised flowers. Scalloped foliate edge is echoed by the larger scalloped, inverse scrolling edge
of the bronze engraved lid. The top of the lid/cap has the modelled head of Queen Elizabeth I in high relief, in coppery coloured metal. Large Tudor ruffled collar, high forehead over oval face and flowing locks. Great condition with no damage to glass or bronze metal.

BRASS OPENWORK DRESSER SET TRAY FRAME BOX
Vintage dresser / vanity set, probably Eastern European in origin and dating to the 1940-60's. Consists of openwork gilded brass, glass and 'pearl' mirrored tray, picture frame and jewelry / trinket box. Measurements: tray 7 3/4inches long and 5 1/2inches wide. Frame 5 1/4inches high including decoration on top and 4 1/2inches wide including extra decoration. Box is 2 1/8inches high and 2 1/2inches diam excluding extentions for opening and hinges. Superb brass openwork on all 3 pieces. The mirror is surrounded by a curving gallery of swags of flowers and leaves. ON either side are handles in the form of ornate bows. the frame is ornately engraved and chased. Around the top is has a complex arrangement of flowers, each inset with an artificial pearl, one of which is damaged (upon close inspection). The frame has a velvet backing and can stand alone. The little box has a bevelled glass lid and stands on 3 bun feet. It has magnificent floral and scrolling openwork on the sides and an elaborate gilded thumb piece. Even the little clasps that hold down the glass are very pretty. Condition of all three pieces is excellent with the exception of the one damaged pearl.

COMPACT TRAVEL CLOCK ENGLAND FLORAL GILT
Unusual Compact folding travel clock, made in England, early in the 20th century. Newmark. Measures 2" long and 1 3/4" wide when closed WHen closed, clock looks like a pretty enamelled compact. Outside is gold-coloured metal with floral decoration. The face is very attractive when the case is opened. Has name of clockmaker NEWMARK and Made in England as well as all the numbers written in Arabic (regular) style so that it's easy to read. It is in working order. No scratches/dings to the lovely metal case or glass.
