Antique / vintage triangle patchwork hand made quilt. Made in the USA, early 1900's. <P><P>
Measures approx 84.5 X 71.5 inches. <P><P>
Wonderful design with a wide variety of patterned fabrics - the detail is far greater than immediately meets the eye. Colours are still bright and cheerful. The back is very nicely hand sewn. The edges are very well finished off with a delicate patterned fabric. Minor discoloration commensurate with the age.

SOLID ST SILVER PIN CUSHION 1909 BIG SHOE
Sterling Silver Pin cushion in the form of a man's shoe. Made Chester, England, 1909. <br>
Rare large size - measures 5 inches long.<br>
Realistically modelled man's shoe. Makes you want to thread the laces through the lace holes. Beautiful modelling. Wood base - great patina. Original cushion. The inside has the Reg mark, while the outside is fully hallmarked with Chester town mark, sterling silver lion mark, date mark (J) and maker's mark. There is one more mark that is unidentified.<br>
Condition is very good.

Impressive figural needlepoint in wools depicting a Classical allegorical scene with heroes and heroines, cherubs and putti. Full of movement and drama. Nice detail. Measures 6X9foot. Origins and date unknown, but not very old. Excellent condition.

PEARL CHOKER COLLAR VINTAGE JAPANESE
Fabulous vintage pearl collar / choker, made in Japan for Lembeck Inc. Perfect for a bride or designer outfit.
Measures 10 1/2 inches accross, excluding the ties, when lieing flat.
I am not a pearl expert, so I do not know whether these are faux, real or cultured. They are beautiful. Graded from small on the outer sides to large in the center, the pearls have a wonderful lustrous patina, a warm shine in a creamy colour with a hint of apricot. The ties end in brown coloured pearls held in a metal cup, like flowers in a calyx. The pearls are sewn onto silk fabric, with original lable reading Especially Made for Lembeck, Inc. Made in Japan.
General condition is very good. The back has slight, acceptable discoloration, commensurate with it's age.

TAPESTRY TEXTILE CHILDREN ROSE GARDEN EARLY
Framed tapestry depicting a little boy and girl in a beautiful rose garden. From an old estate.
Frame measures just under 14inches wide and 11 3/4inches high.
Aubusson style tapestry with beautiful scene of a little boy, arm around his friend, one finger pointing, as though telling her something important. THey stand in the midst of a beautiful courtyard - roses and picket fences on one side, a trough of falling water on the other, cobbles and old stone steps leading to a building in the background.
Excellent condition. Ready for hanging.

FRENCH ART NOUVEAU SILVER BUTTON WOMAN HEAD
Art Nouveau sculpted head in an openwork silver button, surrounded by garlands of flowers.
Woman's head in profile. Fabulous detail to face and flowers - see the tendrils curling down the nape of her neck. These are echoed in the flowers and foliage that wind around the silver disk. It takes a magnifying glass to see the fine details of stamen and petals. There are no marks on th button, so we are selling it as silver coloured and not as sterling silver.
1 5/16 inches long.

SILK EMBROIDERED & PAINTED PICTURE VICTORIAN
Embroidered, silkwork and painted picture of a courting couple. A silk needlework picture,
with painted hands, feet and faces. Probably dates to late 19th or early 20th century.
The gilt wood frame is definately later - possibly 1950-60's.
Needlework in fabulous colours from gold to purple. The woman's hair is further detailed with
purplish beads that glitter and add lustre.
Excellent condition.
Frame measures 27 1/2 X 23 1/2inches. Picture is 19 1/4 X 15 1/2 inches.

VICTORIAN MAHOGANY EMBROIDERED FIRESCREEN 19C
A Victorian / Edwardian fire screen made of mahogany wood with hand embroidered needlework inset.
29inches high and 27 1/2inches accross.
Mahogany frame with simple wooden scrolls attached on top. Nice patina to old wood, which is in very good condition. Mortise and Tennon joinery.
Embroidery on front of screen depicts a variety of fruit, butterflies, birds and a squirrel. Very exciting workmanship and bright colours.
There is some wear to the background cloth, including at least 3 places where it has split and one missing patch that should all be restored. The embroidery is totally uncompromised and in fabulous shape with bright colours unfaded.

C1930 EMBROIDERED BED QUILT COVER WALL SET
Outstanding hand embroidered bed cover and wall hanging set. Made Italy, circa 1930.
All pieces have attached linen lining, but the hems have not been 'finished'.
Magnificent hand embroidered exotic pheasants, peacocks, birds of paradise and other birds, butterflies in embroidered frames of scrolling vines and flowers in glorious shades of blue - from light to dark, with purple highlights. Detail and beauty are extraordinary.

fringe for bed 73 X 13 3/4 inches <br>

The set was given to a couple overseas as a wedding present over 65 years ago. They kept it in storage since then. There are a few small 'spots' which will probably come out very easilly, but generally, this entire set is in excellent condition as it never really saw the light of day until now.

WATER LILY EMBROIDERED LINEN TABLE CLOTH 1900
Fine yellow linen with embroidered and appliqued water lilies and leaves. Circa 1900.
Measures about 43inches square.
The center in buttercup yellow Irish linen with a hem stitched scalloped border in gold and green all round the cloth. The corners have appliqued and heavily embroidered beautiful water lilies, buds and leaves in various shades of blues greens and yellow. Each flower with detail of petals, stamen and even veins of leaves.
Very attractive, quality piece in MINT condition no damages no stains no repairs, all freshly laundered and ready for use.

ARTDECO VINTAGE EVENING BAG BLACK GOLD FLECKS
Deco vintage evening bag (1920's) in a black textured velvety fabric with gold flecks. Loop handle and original enamel on metal Deco clasp. Inside is silk lined and 2 pockets, one of which contains a compact mirror. The name of the manufacturer is written in gold lettering,but is illegible. Probably French or American. Condition is excellent. No damage/losses.
Measurements: 6 1/2 X 5 inches.

RARE FINE VICTORIAN HANDMADE LACE WIDE RIBBON
Amazingly fine workmanship in this wide strip of handmade lace from England, 19th century.
This lace with a base of machine made Alencon lace with the appliques added by hand with buttonhole stitches. 3 1/4inches wide. would be over 60inches long if detached from the backing to which it was stapled. Very good condition.
