Made late 19th - early 20th century (1890 - 1910).

Measurements: 19 inches high; base 10 inches in diameter.

Silver plated, with heavy metal, probably brass underneath and partially showing through where the silver is worn. NOUVEAU BRONZE LAMP SIGNED LELEU PARIS SALON
Bronze oil lamp with thistle theme modelled in relief. Made in France and artist signed Georges Leleu and Salon 1904. Classic Art Nouveau bronze relief. Stands 13 1/2 inches high. The lamp has impressed signature of G Leleu and Salon 1904 on the outside rim. Underneath are numerals 03 and possibly someone has signed a name under it (see 'photos). The lamp has been converted to electricity and has original French switch and plug. Condition is very good with wonderful patina. Backpacks, epaulettes, garlanded hats also well modelled and subtlely coloured. The candle would be placed in the hat of the soldier. ART DECO LAMP GLASS BRONZE BUTTERFLY LADY FIG
Classic Art Deco lamp in smoky Lalique style moulded glass and exceptionally modelled butterfly woman in bronze and celluloid. Measures 11 1/4inches high. The base is like a layered Deco building with graded sizes, smaller as they go up. Shaped like a flower, with the petals carved into wonderful pyramidal and fanlike geometric shapes that lead the eye towards the figure perched on top. The butterfly lady is wonderfully modelled so that while she is dressed and hooded, her clothes emphasize her form, both back and front. The clothes are in the form of a butterfly costume, finely detailed. The modelling and texture of the bronze have an almost buttery tactile look. The lamp is in excellent, original condition. Very close scrutiny will reveal a tiny chip under the base, quite unnoticeable and the gilding of the bronze is naturally, very slightly worn on the legs.
