VINTAGE TRUMPET FLOWER ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT
Vintage art glass paperweight. Made in Bohemia (now Czech Republic) early 20th century - 1920.
Approx 2 3/4 inches high.
Millefiori base from which 5 flowers emerge. Form is known as 'trumpet flower'. They look almost like sea anemones, the controlled air bubbles, adding to that effect. The central flower is in marbled shades of grey and white, the 4 surrounding it are multi-coloured. Beautifully made and beautiful to look at. Underneath marks indicate that it dates to 1920. Condition is good except for some wear underneath the paperweight, including a tiny chip, none of which can be seen when it is standing up. (magnified in the 'photos). Priced accordingly and far exceeding price in value. For so much information, I would like to thank Pfa in Austria.

ANTIQUE GLASS EPERGNE STOURBRIDGE / WEBB
Antique Victorian cased pink glass epergne in the form of 3 Jack in the Pulpit flowers fanning out of a bowl. Made in England circa 1900 by either Stourbridge or Thomas Webb. Base is about 10inches accross. Total height is 15 1/4inches. Cased opalescent glass, pearly white in parts, pink running to ruby red stems in others. Base has frilly edges in pink and white with a conical center that
has a greenish tinge towards the point. Here the stems converge in brass holders seperated by a brass flower. Great quality and visual effect. The piece is in good condition. One brass holder is missing (but the stem fits directly into the holder) and one gorgeous flower has a tiny pinprick sized
hole, that is original to it's production and not the result of damage. It is so small that my camera could not capture it.
