ROOKWOOD ART VASE SIGNED SARAH TOOHEY 1891
Rookwood Art Pottery vase in Standard glaze, artist signed ST for Sarah "Sallie" Alice Toohey, who worked at Rookwood 1887 - 1931. Shape 481.
Measures 9 1/2 inches high.
Round body with very long neck, flaring at the top to a ruffled rim. Rim has double impressed wavy border on the inside. Incised initials S with T through it for Sallie Toohey. Also a large impressed X, which was another of the enigmatic experimental marks.
condition: good.
