Most unusual little Sterling silver teaspoon - an exact copy of the ANNOINTMENT SPOON. 4 1/8" long. Very elaborate decoration clearly dating back to Medieval times. Very unusual technique used - like lines of silver applied to the surface as in a drawing. Spoon is cleft - like the 2 chambers of a heart. Hallmarks: maker=R&D; unclear - looks like 3 castles or crown; lion; date letter also unclear. Excellent condition. Please contact me via ginton@flinet.com directly.
