Manufacturer: 19th Century Russian Silver Kiddush /wine cup
Fully hallmarked Russian .84 fine silver Kiddish/kiddush cup with pierced and engraved decoration. Measurements: 2 3/4" high and weighs 2 1/2oz. Tapers very slightly near the top and rim is folded outwards. The decoration is in panels formed by stamping and etching. The borders of the panels are not a simple oval, but quite a complicated shape. Within the panels are alternating village and foliate scenes. The piece is clearly hallmarked with the .84 Russian standard, the date 1888 and the city mark (St. Petersburg). It is in generally very good condition with one or two very negligible dings. Please contact me via ginton@flinet.com directly since we have had problems with the Antiques Alley form. |
