Manufacturer: ANTIQUE DIAMOND TURQUOISE RUBY FISH BROOCH
Antique fish brooch / pin made of gold set with diamonds, turquoises and rubies for eyes.
Measures approx 1 1/4 inches long and widest part is a little over 1 1/4 inches. Weighs 10grams.
19th century.
The fish is wonderfully designed with raised fins. His tail swirls around. Old cut diamonds glitter as do the richly coloured turquoise gems. The lock on the pin is very secure and quite unusual. (see photos). There is a gold hallmark, somewhat rubbed near the tail. Condition is good. No losses or damage of any sort. |
