Manufacturer: ANTIQUE RUSSIAN COPPER POT VERY EARLY 1
One of a small collection of antique copper pots. This one is believed to be Russian in origin and to date to either very early 19th or late 18th century. <br>
Diameter is 7 5/8 inches accross the top rim. Height is almost 3 3/4inches. <br>
Very heavy round pot. Wide curved handle with two handmade nails where it seems to have been re-attached at least a century (or much more) ago. Upper rim is rolled over.
Nice patina.
Good condition with minor dents as is to be expected. The copper of the handle is split in 2 places where the sides meet and one place where the copper bends. |
