Vintage brass or bronze patinated candelabrum / candlesticks made to celebrate the Jewish Holidays and Sabbath. Made in israel, around the 1950-60's.

Measures a little under 8 1/4 inches high and max width is almost 10 3/4inches. Made of a patinated brass or bronze - gilded look in parts and a textured, almost stone-like look in others. Unusual hexagonal base - like a double diamond, with embossed Hebrew lettering for Sabbath and Holy Days on each facet. The neck is also very unusual - shaped like a styalised ram's head with a sheath of corn in the center (front and back) and scrolling arms, like the horns of the goat. Falling into the concave center on top of this is a circle with a Star of David in it - in reticulated openwork. Above this is a Crown-like series of arches with the arms of the candlestick in mirror-image C shapes, the actual candle holder in the form of flowers fitting into the v between curves. No mark/signature to be found. Good condition.
