Rare raisin coloured cameo art glass vase. Made by Thomas Webb, England.<br><br>
Measures 3 1/2 Inches. <br>
Exceptional ground colour - silky deep red. very finely carved flowers in white overlay. Exceptional detail - see stamen and delicate folds of flowers and leaves. Small in size, great in quality and presence. Ground and polished pontil. <br>
Not signed, but undoubtedly the work of Thomas Webb and Sons and comes from a collection of their vases.<br>
Besides an interior bubble (original to the manufacture), the condition is very good, with no chips/cracks/restoration. <br> |
