Black openwork fan. Made in Hong Kong. From a collection of antique and vintage fans, with estimated date about 50 years old. <br><br>
Measures 12 inches tip to tip when open; guard sticks are just under 7 inches long.<br>
Unusual black plastic fan. Sticks with scalloped rim are pierced in a pattern of scrolls and birds of paradise. Held together by original white ribbon and metal ring at the bottom.
Guard sticks have embossed birds on bamboo branches in old Chinese Oriental fashion.<br>
Each guard stick has embossed MADE IN HONG KONG.<br>
