Victorian sterling silver chatelaine ram's horn, or snuff mull shape perfume bottle. Made by Gorham, USA, 19th century. <P><P> Measures a little over 2 1/8 inches accross and weighs 21g. <P><P> Superb moulding of curving silver bottle with surface texture in immitation of a real horn. Round cap screws on/off. Both bottle and cap have a safety chain. Engraved monogram on the cap. <P><P> Ring on chain for hanging as from a chatelaine / purse chain. <P><P> ENgraved Gorham mark is partly worn, but still clearly visible. Also engraved STERLING 82 and what looks like 7. <P><P> Condition is very good. Some negligible, minor dings on cap, commensurate with silver of 100 years old. |
