Antique green cut glass and sterling silver chatelaine perfume / scent bottle. Made in Birmingham England, 1900-1901. <P><P> Measures 1 3/4 inches tall. <P><P> Miniature perfume bottle in emerald green glass. Cut in geometric patterns around globular body and with a starburst covering the whole surface of the bottom. The neck and cap are joined by a hinge. Two loops on the sides of the neck are connected to a silver chain, which would have been hung from a chatelaine or a finger ring. The cap in repousse sterling silver with a foliate pattern radiating from the center. <P><P> Hallmarks are partially hidden, but the Birmingham and date letter are clearly visible. <P><P> Good condition. |
