Antique Victorian 14 carat gold earrings. I believe they were made in India. Date to the 19th century.

Weigh 10grams. Measure 1 1/2 inches excluding the loops.

Each earring consists of a hollow filigree globe attached by a flower to the loop of the earring on top. Two rings connect to a filigree dome or half globe from which a tightly packed circle of rings suspends fine gold wire wound into tassels that end in little gold beads. The earrings swing and sway beautifully with the slightest movement. Wonderful quality workmanship - amazingly delicate and fine.

Very good condition.

Antique Moghul / Indian jewellery has become highly sought after and is increasingly difficult to find. |
