Victorian 14K gold pendant earrings circa 1895 - 1905.

Measure 1 1/2 inches long, not including the loop that goes through the ears. Weigh approx 6 grams.

French style loops that go through the back of the ears and hook into a small round ring on the top of the earring. The earring has 3 main components: a flower formed by a central gold globe surrounded by 'petals' made of very fine gold cannetille style work. This is linked via loops to a closed gold cone suspending an openwork globe, comprised of 6 arching gold bands, each decorated in the same fine gold cannetille style work as the flower. Beneath this is a little bell, that will actually ring gently as the earring moves. Highly attractive and top quality workmanship.

Although earrings look like 18 carat, they tested for 14K.

Very good condition. No damage/repairs to be found. |
