Manufacturer: SILVER OVERLAID PORCELAIN PAINTED ROSES VASE Rare vintage silver overlaid on porcelain vase made by Silberporzellanmanufaktur Plüderhausen Manfred Veyhl, in Germany, 1930- 1950. <P><P> Measures 6 inches high. <P><P> Baluster shaped vase. Base, neck and rim are covered in solid silver layer. The beautiful blue ground has a continuous decoration all around it with silver outlined and silver filled roses and rose leaves. On either side a large, open rose is painted in tones of yellow pink and blue, as is some of the surrounding foliage. Other foliage is almost entirely filled in with silver, with the details left as negative spaces. No chips/cracks/restorations.
