Measures approx 1 1/8 inches long. <P><P>
Gorgeous deep blue sapphires held at the end of a white gold post and long, open cage-like clasp. From the same clasp is a small chain with a loop of diamonds suspended from it. The chain enables the diamonds to swing, the light quivering and flashing as the wearer moves. I am not a gemologist, but I am told that the sapphires are about 1 carat in size each and the diamonds each at least 20 points (probably larger). Stones are lovely and bright. The look is stunning Classic elegance. <P><P>
The gold stays for 18 carats when tested with acid. <P><P>

Drop earrings, measure approx 11/16 inch in length. <P><P>
Delicate pendant / drop earrings.
Diamonds on the end of posts, joined to a short gold chain that suspends a round opal held in the gold mount by delicate double claws. The colour of the opals is magnificent - amazing shades of deepest blue that glint with every movement and angle of the light. <P><P>
Gold tests to at least 18 carat and possibly 22k. <P><P>

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MAJOLICA CLOWN RIDING PIG J Antique, Victorian majolica jardiniere. Made in Europe, circa 1880. <P><P>
Measurements: approx 4 1/4 inches accross; 5 3/4 inches to top of pointy hat. <P><P>
Semicircular jardiniere. The front & sides modelled with a clown or child in jester's costume astride a large boar. The pig with curled up horns and curly tail. The child holding onto his main with one hand and his tail with the other. <P>
The back of the jardiniere is modelled with flowing foliage and plants. <P>
Classic majolica colouring. Inside, the jardiniere is turquoise; the back is done in shades of green, the pig shades of brown and the child with pink, white and yellow costume, red shoes and sitting on a green, modelled rug. <P> Marked with a number of impressed numerals underneath. <P><P>

VINTAGE DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING W GUARD SET, Vintage, estate engagement with guard ring set. Made 1950's. <P><P>
US Size 7 1/4. Weigh approx 5 grams. Central diamond alone is about .8 of a carat (maybe more). <P><P>
Very attractive diamond engagement ring set. Mounted in 14 carat white gold. The engagement ring has a raised central large diamond, brilliant cut, surrounded by a pair of marquis cut, long diamonds that add to the elegant look of the ring and followed by a pair of round diamonds. The guard ring has similarly cut smaller stones. Rings look great and with their Classic design are sure to attract a lot of compliments. <P><P>
Each ring has engraved hallmarks inside: FEATURE LOCK 14K Pat F and engraved in script 12 25 57. <P><P>
Very good condition. <P><P>
We are not gemologists and cannot give technical information about stones. WE have tried to compensate partially by showing rings up against a ruler, measured in inches.

ANTIQUE GOLD GARNET DIAMOND ENAMEL BRACELET w Antique Victorian 18 carat gold, cabochon garnet, diamond and enamel bracelet with mourning or lover's locket at the back. Circa 1860-80. <P><P>
Measures 7 1/8 inches long. Weighs approx 20 grams. <P><P>
The links of the locket are outstanding - in the form of foliage graded in size - clover leaves in 3-dimention, so finely made that the links going one through the next cannot easilly be seen. Smallest links towards the clasp on either end, increasing in size towards the center. <P><P>
The center is a large cabochon garnet (approx 1 1/8 inches long) amidst swirling foliage and a pair of sky-blue-enamelled forget-me-nots, set with diamonds on either side. <P><P>
The back of the bracelet has a small locket containing the hair of a loved one. The hair is original and still in it's neat braid. <br>
Clasp is so well made that it is difficult to distinguish when closed. A safety chain for extra security shows that the bracelet was considered an expensive, luxury item at the time of it's manufacture. <P><P>
The bracelet itself is not hallmarked, but tested for at least 18 carat gold. <P><P>
Condition is original and generally very good. The enamel on the tip of one tiny petal partially lacking, which is not visible except when viewed with magnification as in the 'photographs.

ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENAMEL BROOCH W MINIATURE CH Antique Georgian enamel on copper brooch with a miniature portrait painting of a child, dog and bird in a landscape garden. Made in England circa 1820 - 1840. <P><P>
Measures a little over 1 1/2 inches long. <P><P>
Rectangular brooch with canted corners. The outer border is enamelled in shades of light and dark blue, and white, highlighted in gold. The work is exquisite - tiny granules, almost invisible to the naked eye, enamel foiled for iridescence and shine.<P><P>
The inner scene is of a young girl in a white dress with pink ribbon around her waist and pink shoes and plumed straw hat. She and the little Spaniel dog at her feet are chasing after a bird that takes off above a bush with bright pink roses. In the distance, a lightly painted fountain plays from the mouth of a Classical/mythological sculpture. Finely painted trees in the background. The scene is classic Georgian and quite beautifully executed with absolute charm and grace. <P><P>
Fabulous condition - no damage and no restorations.

Bracelet made up of rectangular links. Each link engraved with a flower, mostly in butterly form, some leaflike. The links alternate with 5 cabochon pink tourmalines, each set in a round mount that matches and echoes the engraving on the links. The bracelet has an easy to open/close clasp, that closes securely and has the additional security of a safety chain. Looks really nice on the arm. <P><P>
No hallmarks found, but tests for 18k gold. <P><P>

Georgian style with the full, round bowl and 3 delicate, outward turning legs, ending in stepped hooves. Subtle detail to finish of rim and ridging on legs, but otherwise unadorned. <P><P>
Hallmarked on the bottom:lion passant; Queen's (Victoria) head; anchor for Birmingham, date letter 'b' and maker GU, who was registered in the 1850 and 60's as George Unite. <P><P>

ANTIQUE GEORGIAN SET 4 OPEN SILVER SALTS W GL Antique Georgian set of 4 sterling silver salts with blue glass liners. Made by John White, 1755, during the reign of George II in London, England.<P><P>
Approx 2 3/4 inches accross widest part. Top rim is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Height is 1 1/2 inches. Silver alone weighs 306 grams. <P><P>
Classic flattened round body with tiny fluting forming neck and rolled outwards rim. Each stands on 3 magnificent paw legs, with beautiful detail. <br>
The front of each salt is engraved with a rope above which is a pointy-eared animal (wolf or horse?) holding a flower-bearing stalk in it's mouth. <P><P>
Each salt has a blue glass liner.
Each salt is hallmarked on the bottom: Maker IW (John White), lion (sterling silver), leopard crowned (London), and date mark U.<P><P>
Salts are in very good condition, especially considering their age. Marks are slightly worn, but clearly legible.

JUDITH LEIBER SIGND BLACK LEATHER GILT METAL Double signed original Judith Leiber black leather and gilt metal belt. Made 1970's. <P><P>
Just under 1 inch wide.<P><P>
Gorgeous black leather, believed to be alligator in very good condition, especially considering the age of the belt. A pair of loops at the back allow for changing the size for the stouter/skinnier wearer. The piece de resistance is the buckle: long, curved and ribbed, like a noodle. Beautiful gilding in great shape. The clasp is very easy to close. <P><P>
The belt is marked Judith Leiber in two places: inside the leather is gilt-embossed with the registered signature. The clasp has engraved Judith Leiber signature.

VINTAGE BLACKAMOOR BROOCH PIN GILDED ENAMEL C Vintage blackamoor brooch / pin costume jewellery. Origin unknown, but clearly made early 20th century. <P><P>
Approximately 1 1/4 inches long. <P><P>
Highly attractive character brooch in the form of a blackamoor with wildly exxaggerated features, beautifully depicted in fine detail and beautifully finished with gilded edges. Rich, shiny black enamel face with delicately modelled features and set with faceted rhinestones. Big hoop earrings in each ear, a ribbed golden cap on his head and a twisted gold collar under the neck. Hinged c-clasp. <P><P>
No marks found. Generally good condition with minor enamel loss as shown highly magnified in the 'photos.

ANTIQUE MINIATURE PAINTING BRITISH RAJ INDIA Antique miniature painting from the British Raj in India with the Royal Coat of Arms, as used by the British Government. <P><P>
Painted in India circa 1880 - 1920. <P><P>
Measures 3 1/4 inches wide by 2 1/8 inch high.<P><P>
Watercolour on cardboard with real gold embossed Coat of Arms. Mounted and ready to be framed. <P><P>
The painting depicts a British horseman on a prancing horse. A raised stick in one hand. He wears a European style hat on his head. A sage and two women walk behind him. Behind the bushes he is riding through is a hill, with a wall curving up it's slopes, a fairly common sight near forts or temples in India. Below are more Indian style buildings. Minute detail - from the smiling face of the rider to the beautifully depicted horse with flying mane. <P><P>
Most unusual and interesting is the embossed coat of arms, done in gold above the hill. It is the Royal Coat of Arms under a Crown, as used by the British Government. <P><P>
The painting is in good condition.
